Let's explore the idea of "The Right One." First of all, where does this idea come from? Is it Christ-centered?
In my experience as a relationship coach, I've seen many women in relationships operate under the false assumption that there's one man for each of us.
In today's episode, we will explore the idea there is no "right one" and consider some alternative questions that will better serve you on your journey towards a Christ-centered marriage. Questions like: Is this a healthy relationship? How will I know whether I am feeling physically unsafe or experiencing a trigger it's safe to work through? Where is God in this relationship?
The main problem with asking, "Is he the right one? is this; it implies that your ability to choose a marriage partner is a test and that the answers lie outside of you and Christ.
Also, I want you to consider how much time you spend on your phone. Go check your activity data and decide if that's the amount of time you want to continue scrolling this summer or whether you might like to take a digital break instead.
