#66: The Blessings and Challenges of Interracial Relationships

forever love podcast Mar 10, 2022

As ambassadors of the kingdom of God, we get to be an example of what's possible.

For us, that includes how to embrace the challenges of an interracial relationship.

My guest today is my amazing husband, Mr. Lovingson Mtongwiza. I'm so excited to welcome him back to the podcast because today, we're chatting about interracial relationships and some of the challenges and blessings we've faced along the way.

Lovingson joined us in Episode 50 to share some relationship advice from a man's perspective, and of course, I'm always sharing little tidbits of info about him throughout all my episodes. That's why I know you're going to love this candid little chat.

We didn't follow any particular plan for this episode, but some of the topics we covered include;

  • Mothers in law
  • Having mixed kids
  • Blending family traditions and religions
  • Funny stories about random comments we've gotten
  • Culture shock
  • Fusion foods
  • And so much more!!

We love to talk about this stuff and answer questions, so if you'd like us to do round two on this topic, please leave your questions or issues you'd like us to cover in the comments below.

Do you want me to help you achieve your God-given desire for marriage personally?

Suppose you're ready to take the next step and commit to doing the work as long as it's in alignment with the will of God. In that case, I can help you start a healthy relationship, transition through the various phases, and ultimately enjoy a Christ-centered marriage. You can be a Godly wife, and I want to help you succeed.
