Fornication and disappointment

Have you ever set limits and boundaries for yourself and then bulldozed right through them? I certainly have, and it can be hard to understand why we do that.
 
I used to think that I was doing what I honestly wanted and then a lot of shame would rise up because I was so conflicted. What I didn't realize was the driving force behind a lot of those decisions. It wasn't loving, even though it sometimes felt like it should have been. The truth? Fear was running ramped.
 
In this week's episode, I want to talk about the connection between fear of disappointment and fornication.
 
Whether you’re a virgin or not, this is an important conversation that will enable you to have higher levels of sexual satisfaction, better communication, and an overall more enjoyable romantic relationship both before and after marriage.
 
This episode is short and sweet and I want to address the following traps that I see my students and clients fall into.
  • Hyper anti-sexual
  • Fear of disappointment
  • Boundaries from fear
